Through this program, families can apply for assistance via IMAS, ensuring that more children have access to quality education, scholarships, and a nurturing environment to help them thrive.
About IMAS
The Instituto Mixto de Ayuda Social (IMAS) is an autonomous Costa Rican institution established in 1971. Its mission is to serve the population in poverty through the provision of grants and programs. IMAS conducts research and evaluates the population living in poverty using the Social Information Sheet (Ficha de Información Social), which contains a set of variables grouped into sections.
